Wes Kirtz

I'm Wes Kirtz, CPA, managing partner of Bookkeeper.com. For more than 17 years I have helped business owners keep more of what they earn, and I have learned that most tax plans fail for the same reason: they are built on numbers nobody trusts, and no one is responsible for carrying them out.

That is why our firm does both. We keep tax-intelligent books for businesses doing $2M to $15M in revenue, then build the tax plan on top of them and stay through implementation. Entity structure, owner compensation, retirement design, and exit planning all work better when your planner already knows your numbers.

Outside of work, my life runs on faith, family, and fitness. I serve as a deacon in my church, spend as much time outdoors as I can with my wife and our three kids, and run ultramarathons.
