I've spent the last 15 years building the kind of tax expertise most CPAs never develop — earning my Finance degree from Tulane and my Master's in Accounting, starting my career at a Ernst & Young in Atlanta, and serving as CFO for a local ocean marine insurance company in New Orleans. I also chair the Audit Committee at Gulf Coast Bank & Trust and serve on the LCPA Board's Business4Business Committee — roles that keep me deeply connected to how businesses actually operate, not just how they're taxed.
What sets me apart is what I do every week: meet with tax professionals across the country to vet the latest strategies before they become mainstream. As a member of AICTP, NATP, and advanced tax planning programs including AICTP and MSCTA, continual education isn't optional for me — it's how I catch the opportunities your current CPA is likely missing.
At Crescent CPA LLC, we meet with clients quarterly at minimum, because real tax savings come from ongoing conversations, not once-a-year filing. We coordinate directly with your financial advisors, attorneys, and bookkeepers to build a complete picture of your circumstances — because a CPA who doesn't know what you're planning can't tell you how to execute it tax-efficiently.
We intentionally limit how many clients we work with. If you just need a return filed, we're probably not the right fit. But if you're wondering whether you're overpaying — let's have a conversation and find out
