I am Deaner Rutland, the founder and CEO of D&K Professional Tax Services, Innovative Living for Life (a residential housing) agency, and Landing Hills Properties (real estate investor/management company) in Athens, GA. My family and I have lived here for over 25 years. My journey in the tax industry begin when I was tired of working long hours in Corporate America. Prior to leaving my job, I learned that I was not being properly advised on my taxes. Credits and deductions were being omitted. After receiving my MBA with a minor in Financial Services, I found my passion in taxation. With over 21 years in this industry, I still enjoy learning about the tax laws, tax deductions and advising my clients with business and real estate tax advantages. My goal is to educate, coach, and mentor my clients with building wealth through saving on taxes and implement strategies.
