I grew up in a family-owned business, a restaurant in fact. This allowed me to experience firsthand both the rewards and the challenges that come with running a small business. Watching my parents navigate the difficulties of entrepreneurship and learning from them the importance of tax planning and how taxes came into play for our family. This is where my passion was ignited, and it was not just about starting my own business but helping other business owners succeed. I saw a gap in the accounting world where small businesses often lacked the quality financial support they need to thrive and that's why I pursued a career in accounting - to be the trusted resource that business owners can rely on.
