I founded Expert Tax CPA in December 2021 with 17 years of experience in tax and accounting realizing the industry needed another CPA firm to give small-business owners and individuals better service and expertise, while creating an excellent work environment for staff. After an amazing childhood in Wyoming, I graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2004 with a Bachelor's in accounting and a minor in information systems. I worked a few years in the accounting industry and then received an MBA from the University of Phoenix, took additional advanced accounting classes from the University of Utah and passed the CPA tests in 2011 on my first attempt.
My niche is in the real estate industry but I have also worked with clients in other industries. such as construction contractors, high-net-worth individuals with investment partnerships, medical doctors, restaurant owners and e-commerce retail sellers, including multi-state nexus issues in each field. When I'm not nit-picking every detail to help clients save the most taxes, I am busy managing my family's real estate rental business and spending time with my husband and two kids.
