After finishing my bachelor's and master's degrees at Virginia Tech, I sat down and passed all four CPA exams in four months, then started my career at KPMG's Business Tax Services practice working on federal and state compliance for large clients.
Now, at Bookkeeper.com, I work directly with small business owners on tax planning and advisory, helping them move from reactive filing to a real strategy that's revisited throughout the year, not just at tax time.
Where I spend most of my energy is at the intersection of tax and technology. I build AI-powered tools and advanced Excel models that make tax planning faster and more accurate, and let clients see the outcome of a decision before they make it, so the strategies we design together actually get implemented instead of sitting in a binder.
